Reinforcing Organizational Infrastructure
We help nonprofit CBOs and the funders who support them strengthen the systems behind their missions.
For nonprofit leaders, technical assistance providers, and funders
We focus on governance, financial management, fundraising and impact measurement—not through one-off trainings, but by co-developing internal systems that last. Our tools and methods support:
Board development and strategic alignment
Financial oversight and scenario planning
Fund development systems that match capacity
Supporting organizational capacity in community based organizations is critical, but standard “train and pray” approaches are inadequate. We focus on CBO executive board leadership and tangible improvement in four core areas: Governance, Financial Management, Fund development and Impact Measurement. We assess, develop a workplan for measurable improvement and coach leadership to success. We believe Impact measurement and management (IMM) is a fundamental need for every organization, but most of the sector has no system to measure and showcase impact. We build IMM systems that do more than highlight your results, they support strategic learning, and raise more resources. We’ll prototype an IMM Framework for you for free to start building your impact measurement system.
Designing Frameworks for Community Investment
We develop strategic playbooks and pilot models to help communities govern their own capital.
For funders, public agencies, and intermediaries
Equity isn’t just about where money goes—it’s about who decides. We’re building and testing frameworks for:
Community-controlled housing strategies
Reparative fund governance
Neighborhood-based investment systems
If you're exploring participatory funding, community ownership, or localized wealth-building, we offer frameworks that turn bold ideas into structured action.
Movement Tech: Tools for Collective Action
We’re designing digital platforms to make decentralized action easier and more effective
For organizers, civic tech funders, and community leaders
From economic protest to neighborhood safety, we’re designing lightweight, low-barrier tools to help communities act together—without centralized institutions. Our platforms are in development, and built around real-world challenges:
How can people coordinate economic pressure without an organization?
How can neighborhoods track what’s happening without surveillance?
How can everyday choices become part of a larger movement?
The future of organizing is distributed, agile, and resilient.
We Prototype What Doesn’t Exist
We are a strategy lab, turning good ideas into usable models.
For funders, civic strategists, and movement collaborators
Some challenges can’t be solved with existing tools. That’s where we come in. We develop early-stage prototypes—digital, organizational, or strategic—that can be tested, improved, and adopted by others.
We build rough, testable versions of big ideas
We learn in public
We invite collaboration from communities, institutions, and funders alike
